We often get asked about how we brew such darn good beer. Here are the steps we follow each time when brewing the beers you know and love. (click on image to view larger)

The Grain Silo

Fresh, malted barley is delivered and stored in the 24,000 lb. capacity silo until our brewer is ready to use it. You can view this exact silo on our outdoor patio.

Auguring/Milling

Brewer’s malt is augured through the flex augur into the mill. Once in the mill, the Brewer’s malt is ground to the point where the brewer is certain he can get all of the best qualities out of it.

Mash/Lauter Tun

The grain is steeped and rinsed in hot water, extracting the sugars, color and flavor from the malt.

Brew Kettle

The sweet wort is pumped to the kettle and brought to a boil. Hops are added for bittering and aroma.

Fermenter

The wort is then quickly cooled and pumped to the fermenter, where yeast is added.

Filter

After fermentation is complete, the beer is chilled down and the yeast removed. The beer is then filtered and sent to the storage cellar.

Serving Tanks

The beer is aged and cellared in the serving tanks, after which it is pushed directly to the taps at the bar.

The Final Product

Our hand-crafted beers are served to you, our guests, at their peak in flavor and maturity. Cheers!
